Every member of the church is a priest and minister in their daily spheres of influence: family, friends, neighbors, work, school, city. We strive to provide small group opportunities which includes pursuing authentic relationships of love and encouragement, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through word and deed.

Classrooms and Locations:

  • Nursery (when available): Infants through age 3 - still in diapers - Nursery Room; North Gym Hallway 

  • PreK - TK:   North Gym Hallway 

  • K - 1st Grade:  South Gym Hallway 

  • 2nd - 3rd Grade:   South Gym Hallway 

  • 4th - 5th Grade:  South Gym Hallway 

  • 6th - 8th Grade: South Gym Hallway 

  • Adult Classes:  Activity Room/Gym 

Please Note:

  • Classes run 9:00 am - 10:00 am. 

  • Children through Kindergarten must picked up (older siblings show on the registration form may pick up).

  • Please pick up your children no later than 10:05 am.

  • Parents of nursery age children should help their child take a bathroom break before church.

NURSERY CARE

Children’s Ministry

Our church Nursery is located in the NW corner of the building (past the multi-purpose room) and is available for 6 months up through and including age 5 during the Sunday worship services.

A Bible teaching time with story and song is included during nursery care at both service times.

MIDDLE SCHOOL + HIGH SCHOOL

Youth Ministry

Jr High Youth (6th-8th) - Wednesdays 6:15p at the church (no meeting last Wednesday of the month) Please contact church office for more info. (Sept-May)

 

High School Youth - Wednesdays 6:15p. (Sept.-May)

SENIORS

RnR at Downtown

RnR stands for "Retired or Nearly Retired". This group focuses on individuals in the latter season of life. The purpose of RnR@Downtown is to facilitate spreading the gospel of Christ through fellowship, spiritual enrichment, missional activities, and mentor relationships that utilize the skills and gifts of group members for the benefit of Downtown Church, the community, and the world. Downtown is passionate about cross-cultural ministry and reaching all peoples with the good news of Jesus Christ. We have mission opportunities in our own community as well as with missionaries and larger overseas ministries and regularly promote trips with these organizations.
